Our Reconciling Statement of Affirmation:
We affirm our commitment to each other and our commitment to be in full connection with our community through the love of God as shown in the life and mission of Jesus Christ.
Because Jesus showed love to all, we hope and strive to be accepting and welcoming to all people regardless of age, gender identity, racial or ethnic background, sexual orientation, marital or socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability, or any other social construct used to limit our connection and divide ourselves from one another. We come together understanding and even embracing our brokenness, because it is through that brokenness that God can and does bring us together. We further affirm that it is that coming together that leads us, strengthens us, and transforms us.
